My approach to counseling is an integration of person-centered and cognitive-behavioral, using an eclectic style of techniques such as solution focused, cognitive behavioral and reality therapy. Goals often include: managing and overcoming anxiety and stress; surviving and processing grief and loss, managing life transitions and adjustments; improving mood and overcoming depression; enhancing self-esteem; improving relationships; improving emotional and behavioral issues.
